Founded by two sisters in Montreal, Quebec — one working in the corporate world and the other a creative in the luxury fashion space. Two different styles, passions, expertise and women.

Although working in different environments, everyday we choose clothes and accessories based on our moods, the setting and ultimately the way they make us feel.

Styling and identifying with a brand is a very personal choice. Because of our background we gravitate more towards versatile, minimalistic and good-fitting pieces that compliment our lifestyle — busy.

This is why we created Maevy — our homage to the busy woman. Wether we are going to work, reading a book, meeting our friends for drinks, rushing to a hot pilates class, or just taking a bath to avoid washing our hair — the pieces we create will always be transitional and multi-purposeful for a busy life — no matter what that encompasses.

Maevy was created on the foundation of our love for accessories. Accessorizing is the way we’ve dressed up a classic t-shirt and jeans. Hair accessories go one step beyond that by adding a layer of functionality.

The design process for our pieces takes time and extensive research — especially since we started as clueless as it comes. From preliminary designs, creating mock-ups and choosing the right materials, to sampling the product, and making endless changes to achieve the best balance of functionality and form. Our efforts are intentional, believing that every detail matters.
